Malvern Bank Series finale draws Berck to Adams County

The Malvern Bank East & West Series' season final brought Kyle Berck to Adams County Speedway (Corning, Iowa) over the weekend for the two-day Pumpkin Dash.

With dual heat races scheduled for Friday night, Berck posted a second-place finish in the first heat before crossing the line in fifth on the second round.

Lined up on the front row of his heat race on Saturday, Kyle raced into the $6,000-to-win finale with a runner-up showing. Engine issues before the start of the 40-lap affair prevented Berck from completing. He was slated to start in 10th.
