Berck competes in Malvern Bank Series doubleheader
Kyle Berck competed in a pair of Malvern Bank Series events over the weekend in the state of Iowa with his Speedee Mart No. 14 Late Model.
After breaking a torque arm in his heat on Saturday at Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, IA), Berck tagged the tail of the feature and drove ahead of seven competitors to finish 16th.
For the Summer Smackdown at Mason City Motor Speedway (Mason City, IA) on Sunday, Kyle’s sixth-place heat finish positioned him on third row for the $4,000-to-win finale. Unable to find his footing, Berck faded to a 13th-place outing in the 40-lap affair.
